Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

This policy explains how East Coast Marketplace (ECOAST), which organizes community markets in South Florida, collects and uses personal information through this website and the vendor account.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in details.
  • Business information: your business name, category, products, social media, and the answers you give in market applications.
  • Documents you upload, such as licenses, permits, and insurance certificates.
  • Contact information, such as your phone number and address, when you provide it.
  • Payment information: cards are collected and stored by Square. ECOAST receives only limited details, such as the card brand and last four digits, and never stores full card numbers.
  • Basic technical information, such as your browser type and pages visited, needed to run and secure the site.

How we use it

  • To review applications and manage your participation in our markets.
  • To charge booth fees for confirmed market dates and keep payment records.
  • To send transactional emails about your applications, dates, and payments.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service: Supabase (database, file storage, and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Square (payment processing), and Resend (transactional email). They process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of ECOAST, vendors, or visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep account, application, and payment records for as long as your account is active and afterwards as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Documents and data we no longer need are deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your business information from your vendor account. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law.

Security

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details private.

Children

The vendor account is intended for adults and businesses, not for children under 13.
