Hands That Give, Hands That Receive isn't just a line on the homepage — it's a description of what happens at an ECOAST market every weekend. Every exchange across a market counter runs both ways: a vendor's product for a neighbor's support, and often something less visible than that.
Every week, ECOAST sets aside free spaces for nonprofit organizations, giving them a chance to connect directly with the community and bring visibility to their causes without the cost of a vendor spot.
A launchpad for young makers
That same commitment shaped the Young Makers Hub — a dedicated space where kids create their own products, set up their own table, and sell directly to market visitors. For many of them, it's the first time they've turned an idea into something real and put it in front of other people.
It's a small part of the market footprint, but it captures the whole idea behind ECOAST: a market should give something back to the community it's part of, not just sell to it.
